Despite the fact that this is a fanart I still wanted to depict the level of creative and mental freedom most of us get to experience as a child. There’s a point in our lives that we don’t get to tie tablecloths around our necks, throw kitchen equipment on our heads, and blaze off into our backyards to go on grand adventures. I guess this hit me in a moment of nostalgia. I thought it would be cool to see some of my favorite characters (Stefan and Damon) doing the same things that normal kids would do—running around, creating worlds built from the mind and the heart
